Clinical Efficacy of Citicoline Sodium Combined with Rosuvastatin in Patients with Acute Cerebral Infarction
Objective:To investigate the effect of Citicoline Sodium combined with Rosuvastatin in patients with acute cerebral infarction.Method:A total of 109 patients with acute cerebral infarction admitted to the Neurology Department of Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital Group Suqian Hospital from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected, and they were divided into study group(55 cases)and control group(54 cases)according to different treatment methods.Among them,4 patients in the study group and 3 patients in the control group had incomplete clinical data due to sudden deterioration, death, and voluntary withdrawal during the study.Finally,51 patients in the study group and control group were included in the final study. The control group was treated with Rosuvastatin, while the study group was treated with Citicoline Sodium combined with Rosuvastatin.Observed and compared the clinical treatment effects, cerebrovascular related indicators, neurological function related indicators, and incidence of adverse reactions between two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the study group was 90.20%,which was higher than 70.59%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, cerebrovascular blood flow velocity, cerebrovascular blood flow and brain volume in two groups were higher than those before treatment, and which in the study group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of nerve growth factor(NGF)and neuron-specific enolase(NSE)in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)was higher than that before treatment, and the levels of NSE and NGF in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the levels of BDNF was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 15.69%,which was higher than 11.76%in the control group, but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Citicoline Sodium combined with Rosuvastatin is effective in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction patients, which can effectively restore the blood supply to the brain and improve the neurological function of patients, and is safe and feasible.
