Application Effect of Refined Nursing in PICC in Patients with Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Treated with Chemotherapy
Objective:To study the application effect of refined nursing in peripherally inserted central venous catheter(PICC)in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer treated with chemotherapy.Method:Sixty patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer treated by chemotherapy in the Guizhou Medical University Affiliated Tumor Hospital from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected.According to the method of random number table, the patients were divided into group A and group B,with 30 cases in each group.Group A was given routine nursing, group B was given refined nursing based on group A.Self-care ability before and after nursing, mental state, related indexes and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Result:After nursing, the scores of self-care concept,self-responsibility,health knowledge and nursing skills and total scores of both groups were increased, and the scores of self-care concept,self-responsibility,health knowledge and nursing skills and total scores of group B were higher than those of group A,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing, the scores of Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)and Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)were decreased in both groups, and the scores of HAMA and HAMD in group B were lower than those in group A,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The retention time of PICC in group B was longer than that in group A,and the incidence of PICC-related complications was lower than that in group A,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total satisfaction of group B was higher than that of group A,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of refined nursing not only helps to improve the psychological state of patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer chemotherapy, but also improves self-care efficacy and prolongs the retention time of PICC,as well as prevents the occurrence of PICC-related complications during chemotherapy,so as to obtain higher recognition degree of nursing services for patients.
