Research Progress of Traditional Chinese Medicine on Pediatric Cough Variant Asthma
Cough variant asthma(CVA)is a common and frequently-occurring disease in children.Due to its characteristics of easy misdiagnosis,difficult to cure and long course of disease,it causes great trouble to children and their families.Although western medicine can quickly relieve clinical symptoms,its heavy use has also caused the increase of drug resistance and toxic side effects,and long-term use can reduce patients'resistance to various inducements.Compared with western medicine,Chinese medicine has been widely used in the clinical application of pediatric CVA in recent years because of its safe and effective characteristics.This article will review its research progress from the perspectives of etiology,pathogenesis,experimental research and internal and external treatment,so as to provide reference for subsequent research and clinical application.
