The Diagnostic Value of Combined MRI and CT in Cerebral Venous Sinus Thrombosis
Objective:To investigate the diagnostic value of MRI combined with CT in cerebral venous sinus thrombosis(CVST).Method:A total of 86 suspected CVST patients admitted to the Imaging Department of the Lianyungang First People's Hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects.According to the DSA test results, they were divided into CVST group(n=70)and non-CVST group(n=16).CT and MRI were performed in all patients. The diagnosis results of CVST in specific parts of different examination methods was counted. The diagnosis results of CVST by CT,MRI and combined detection was counted. The diagnostic efficacy of CT,MRI and combined detection of CVST was analyzed.Result:A total of 70 CVST cases were definitively diagnosed by DSA,including 55 cases with CT diagnosis,60 cases with MRI diagnosis, and 65 cases with CT combined with MRI diagnosis.CT diagnosis was consistent with DSA results in 55 cases, and there were 18 cases of misjudgment.MRI diagnosis was consistent with DSA results in 60 cases, and there were 11 cases of misjudgment. The results of CT combined with MRI were consistent with DSA in 65 cases, and there were 6 cases of misjudgment. The accuracy of CT combined with MRI was higher than that of CT,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The diagnosis accuracy of CVST by CT combined with MRI is higher and more accurate than that by CT and MRI alone.
