Effects of PDCA Cycle Nursing on Chemotherapy Complications,Quality of Life and Negative Emotions in Patients with Gastrointestinal Tumor undergoing Chemotherapy
Objective:To explore the effects of PDCA cycle nursing on chemotherapy complications,quality of life and negative emotions in patients with gastrointestinal tumor undergoing chemotherapy.Method:A total of 100 patients with gastrointestinal tumor treated by chemotherapy in Suzhou Xiangcheng People's Hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects.They were randomly divided into control group and observation group,50 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing,the observation group was given PDCA cycle nursing.Chemotherapy complications after 10 d of nursing,negative emotions before and after nursing and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Result:The incidence of bone marrow suppression,gastrointestinal reaction,alopecia and total complication incidence in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of material life,psychological function,emotional role and physiological function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing,the scores of self-rating depression scale(SDS)and self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)in both groups were lower than those before nursing,and the scores of SAS and SDS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:PDCA cycle nursing can effectively improve chemotherapy complications,quality of life and negative emotions in patients with gastrointestinal tumor undergoing chemotherapy.
