Investigation on Awareness Rate,Vaccination Willingness and Influencing Factors of HPV Vaccine among Women in Yichang Urban Area
Objective:To investigate the awareness rate,vaccination willingness and factors affecting willingness of human papilloma virus(HPV)vaccine among women in Yichang urban area.Method:A total of 3 700 women aged 18-45 in Yichang urban area from October 20,2020 to May 29,2023 were selected,a survey questionnaire was distributed to all the above research subjects and the survey results were statistically analyzed.The awareness rate of HPV and related diseases,the willingness of HPV vaccination and the factors affecting HPV vaccination were analyzed.Result:A total of 3 700 survey questionnaires were distributed in this study,and 3 592 questionnaires were ultimately collected,with a success rate of 97.08%,among 359 2 study subjects,the cognitive level of HPV was concentrated at a moderate level,accounting for 59.99%of the total study subjects,among them,the study subjects who had never heard of HPV accounted for the lowest proportion,only 4.79%;the cognitive level of diseases caused by HPV infection is also concentrated in moderate cognitive level,accounting for 38.34%of all research subjects.The number of patients with high cognitive level of diseases caused by HPV infection accounts for only 7.04%.The proportion of subjects with moderate willingness to vaccinate HPV vaccine was the highest among all respondents,accounting for 58.55%,and the proportion of subjects with no willingness to vaccinate HPV vaccine was the lowest,only 1.06%.The main factors affecting the willingness of HPV vaccination were lack of confidence in vaccine safety and lack of confidence in vaccine effect,accounting for 37.00%and 30.73%respectively.Conclusion:The female population in Yichang urban area has a high awareness rate of HPV and willingness to vaccinate,however,their professional knowledge level of HPV still needs to be improved,the subjects'concerns about the safety and effectiveness of HPV vaccine are the main factors affecting their willingness to vaccinate.
