Effect of Early Enteral Nutrition Combined with Parenteral Nutrition on Patients with Acute Pancreatitis
Objective:To explore the effect of early enteral nutrition(EEN)combined with parenteral nutrition(PN)on patients with acute pancreatitis(AP).Method:A total of 92 AP patients admitted to the Fujian Medical University Affiliated Sanming First Hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected. They were divided into study group(n=46)and control group(n=46)according to random number table method. The control group was given PN,and the study group was given EEN combined PN.Clinical indicators, nutritional status, intestinal mucosal barrier index, inflammatory factors and disease status before treatment and after 10 d of treatment were compared between the two groups.Result:The disappearance time of abdominal pain, bowel sound recovery time, temperature recovery time, blood amylase recovery time, first defecation time and hospitalization time in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 10 d of treatment, the levels of hemoglobin(Hb),albumin(ALB)and prealbumin(PA)in both groups were increased, and the levels of Hb,ALB and PA in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 10 d of treatment, the levels of diamine oxidase(DAO),endotoxin(ETX)and D-lactic acid(D-LA)in both groups were decreased, and the levels of DAO,ETX and D-LA in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 10 d of treatment, the C-reactive protein(CRP)level of the two groups were decreased, and the CRP level of the study group was lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 10 d of treatment, the acute physiological and chronic health scale(APACHEⅡ)score of the two groups decreased, and the APACHEⅡ score of the study group was lower than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:EEN combined with PN in AP patients can improve clinical indexes and nutritional status of patients, enhance intestinal mucosal barrier function, reduce inflammatory response, and improve disease conditions.
