Assessment of Quality of Life and Psychological Condition of Male Acne Patients in Dermatology Outpatient Clinic
Objective:To analyze the quality of life and psychological condition of male acne patients with different severity in Dermatology Outpatient clinic.Method:The clinical data of 308 male acne patients admitted to the Dermatology Outpatient Clinic of Huili City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to June 2023 were collected.According to the severity of acne,the patients were divided into mild acne group(grade Ⅰ,n=121)and moderate and severe acne group(grade Ⅱ-Ⅳ,n=187).The relationship between acne of different severity and anxiety,depression and quality of life were analyzed.Result:The scores of self-rating depression scale(SDS)and self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)in moderate and severe acne group were higher than those in mild acne group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The detection rate of depression in moderate and severe acne group was higher than that in mild acne group,and the severity of depression was higher than that in mild acne group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The self-perception,social function,emotional function and total score of moderate and severe acne group were lower than those of mild acne group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acne has a certain impact on the mental state and quality of life of male patients,moderate and severe acne has a more serious impact on the mental health and quality of life of male patients.
