Chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG)is a common disease of digestive system,and it often occurs in combination with intestinal epithelium metaplasia and dysplasia,which seriously threatens the health of patients.The pathogenesis of the disease is not completely clear,and the disease is complicated.At present,the clinical use of traditional Chinese medicine,western medicine,and the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine to treat CAG,it can improve the symptoms of patients to a certain extent.This article reviews the progress of Chinese and western medicine treatment of CAG,hoping to help the clinical diagnosis and treatment of CAG.
