Comparison Effect of Moxifloxacin and Isoniazid in the Treatment of Senile Pulmonary Tuberculosis
Objective:To compare the effect of Moxifloxacin and Isoniazid in the treatment of senile pulmonary tuberculosis.Method:A total of 102 elderly patients with pulmonary tuberculosis who treated in Xuzhou Infectious Disease Hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects, they were divided into group A(n=51)and group B(n=51)according to random number table method.Group A was treated with routine treatment + Isoniazid for 6 months, including 2 months of intensive period and 4 months of consolidation period, group B was treated with conventional therapy + Moxifloxacin for 4 months. The clinical efficacy, serum cytokine levels, quality of life and adverse reactions were compared between two groups.Result:After treatment, the total clinical effective rate of group B was higher than that of group A,and the incidence of adverse drug reactions was lower than that of group A,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);after treatment, the levels of γ interferon(IFN-γ),interleukin-18(IL-18),interleukin-10(IL-10)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in two groups were lower than those before treatment, those in group B were lower than those in group A,and the scores of health survey summary table(SF-36)were higher than those before treatment, those in group B were higher than those in group A,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The effect of Moxifloxacin in the treatment of elderly patients with pulmonary tuberculosis is significant, which can improve the quality of life and reduce inflammatory reaction and the incidence of adverse drug reactions.
