The Value of CT Energy Spectrum Parameters in Distinguishing Pathological Types of Colorectal Cancer
Objective:To explore the value of CT energy spectrum parameters in distinguishing pathological types of colorectal cancer(CRC).Method:A total of 64 CRC patients admitted to Songzi People's Hospital from February 2022 to February 2023 were selected.All patients underwent CT energy spectrum enhanced scan at 1 week before surgery.There were 36 cases of mucinous adenocarcinoma and 28 cases of tubular adenocarcinoma.The iodine concentration(IC),standardized iodine concentration(NIC),iodine Overlay value(Overlay value)and energy spectrum curve slope(λHU)of different pathological types in arterial phase and venous phase were compared,and the value of the above CT spectrum parameters in the identification of pathological types of CRC patients was analyzed.Result:IC,Overlay value,λHU in arterial phase and venous phase and NIC in arterial phase of mucinous adenocarcinoma were lower than those in tubular adenocarcinoma,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),there was no significant difference between the two pathological types of NIC in venous phase(P>0.05).logistic multivariate regression analysis results showed that,arterial phase IC(OR=1.321),arterial phase NIC(OR=1.443),arterial phase Overlay value(OR=1.398),arterial phase λHU(OR=1.257),venous phase IC(OR=1.520),venous phase Overlay value(OR=1.406),venous phase λHU(OR= 1.411)were independent risk factors for tubular adenocarcinoma in CRC patients(P<0.05).Drawing receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves showed that,the areas under the curve of arterial phase IC,arterial phase NIC,arterial phase Overlay value,arterial phase λHU,venous phase IC,venous phase Overlay value,and venous phase λHU in the identification of pathological types of CRC patients were 0.888,0.820,0.769,0.832,0.863,0.810,and 0.723,respectively.Conclusion:The arteriovenous phase IC,Overlay value,λHU and arterial phase NIC of different pathological type in CRC patients were significant difference,and the above CT energy spectrum parameters can provide objective reference for distinguishing pathological type.
