Guiding Effect of Bedside Ultrasound Combined with Sedation and Agitation Score on Withdrawal of Mechanical Ventilation Patients in ICU
Objective:To analyze the guiding effect of bedside ultrasound combined with sedation and agitation score on withdrawal of mechanical ventilation patients in ICU.Method:A total of 52 ICU mechanical ventilation patients admitted to Dongguan Huangjiang Hospital from April 2022 to March 2023 were selected. They were randomly divided into control group and observation group,26 cases in each group. The control group was withdrawn according to conventional methods, and the observation group was withdrawn according to bedside ultrasound combined with sedation and agitation score. The withdrawal success rate, clinical indicators and adverse events of the two groups were compared.Result:The success rate of withdrawal in observation group was higher than that in control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The mechanical ventilation time and ICU stay time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the mortality rate was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse events in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Bedside ultrasound combined with sedation and agitation score plays a prominent role in guiding the withdrawal of patients with mechanical ventilation in ICU,which can ensure the success rate of withdrawal, reduce mortality, shorten the time of mechanical ventilation and ICU stay, and reduce the incidence of adverse events.
