Research Progress on Relationship between Feeding Intolerance and Gut Microbiota in Premature Infants
The growth time of premature infants in the mother is insufficient, and they are delivered early due to various factors, however, the internal tissues, organs and systems of premature infants are immature,so special nursing and feeding are needed clinically.Feeding intolerance(FI)in preterm infants is a common phenomenon, which is closely related to gastrointestinal insufficiency, gastric motility insufficiency, gut microbiota imbalance in preterm infants. The imbalance of gut microbiota structure and the colonization of different microorganisms will affect the gastrointestinal function of preterm infants, clarifying the relationship between FI and gut microbiota of preterm infants will help regulate and treat the gastrointestinal function of preterm infants, solve the problem of FI of preterm infants, and promote their healthy development and growth. This article introduced the diagnostic criteria of FI of preterm infants, reviewed the relationship between FI and gut microbiota, and proposed methods to improve FI of preterm infants for reference.
