Clinical Study on the Treatment of Cold-dampness Type Lumbar Degenerative Lesions with Moxibustion on Ginger and Medicine
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of moxibustion on ginger and medicine on cold-dampness type lumbar degenerative lesions.Method:A total of 120 patients with cold-dampness type lumbar degenerative lesions who were treated in the Rheumatic Rehabilitation Treatment Area of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects,and they were divided into blank control group,control group and treatment group according to random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was given magic lamp irradiation,the control group was given moxibustion on ginger,and the treatment group was given moxibustion on ginger and medicine.The therapeutic effect,lumbar function recovery and pain relief were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 87.50%,which was higher than 72.50%of the control group and 60.00%of the blank control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the visual analogue scale(VAS)scores and Oswestry disability index(ODI)score of the three groups were lower than those before treatment,and the lumbar function scores of the Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)were higher than that before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant of pairwise comparison among the three groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical effect of moxibustion on ginger and medicine on the treatment of cold-dampness type lumbar degenerative lesions is remarkable,which can obviously reduce the pain of patients,promote the rehabilitation of the disease and improve the quality of life.
