Application Effect of Flow-resin Fixation with Twist Wire in the Treatment of Dental Trauma
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of flow-resin fixation with twist wire in the treatment of dental trauma.Method:A total of 46 patients with anterior dental trauma requiring fixation admitted to the Stomatology Department of Chaozhou Central Hospital from April 2021 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects. They were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 23 cases in each group. The control group was fixed with wire splint, and the observation group was fixed with flow-resin fixation with twist wire.Periodontal index[gingival index(GI),plaque index(PLI),pocket depth(PD)],gingival crevicular fluid-related factors[hypoxia-inducing factor-1α(HIF-1α),interleukin-8(IL-8),chemokine(CX3CL1)]before and after treatment, operation time, clinical efficacy and complications were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment,GI,PLI,PD,gingival crevicular fluid IL-8 and HIF-1α levels in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and CX3CL1 levels were higher than that before treatment, and GI,PLI,PD,gingival crevicular fluid IL-8,HIF-1α and CX3CL1 levels in observation group were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The operation time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=10.183,P<0.001).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Flow-resin fixation with twist wire can effectively reduce the inflammatory reaction of dental trauma, with high clinical efficacy, hygiene, convenience and operation efficiency, and has a good effect in the treatment of dental trauma.
