Efficacy and Safety of Doxycycline Combined with Azithromycin in the Treatment of Tsutsugamushi Disease Complicated with Pulmonary Infection
Objective:To explore the efficacy and safety of Doxycycline combined with Azithromycin in the treatment of tsutsugamushi disease complicated with pulmonary infection.Method:A total of 150 patients with Tsutsugamushi disease complicated with pulmonary infection admitted to the First Hospital of Putian City from July 2019 to July 2022 were selected as the observation objects.According to the difference of treatment methods, they were divided into two groups, with 75 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Doxycycline, and the observation group was treated with Azithromycin based on the control group. The therapeutic effect and safety of the two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The disappearance time of lung moist rales, liver function recovery time, eschar shedding time and hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in observation group was higher than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Doxycycline combined with Azithromycin can effectively improve the overall therapeutic effect and accelerate the progress of symptom disappearance in the treatment of tsutsugamushi disease complicated with pulmonary infection, but the combination has higher adverse reactions and the safety of treatment is lower than that of single drug.
