Influence of Early Pulmonary Rehabilitation Training Based on Self-determination Theory on Patients with AECOPD
Objective:To investigate the influence of early pulmonary rehabilitation training based on self-determination theory(SDT)in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD).Method:A total of 56 patients with AECOPD admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from June 2022 to December 2023 were selected. They were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method and the 1∶1 principle, with 28 cases in each group. The control group was given routine intervention, and the observation group was given early pulmonary rehabilitation training based on SDT on the basis of control group. The training compliance, dyspnea, exercise ability, quality of life and lung function before and after intervention were compared between the two groups.Result:The total compliance rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the modified Medical Research Council dyspnea scale(mMRC)score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the 6 min walking distance was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the COPD evaluation test(CAT)score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC)and FEV1/FVC%in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Early pulmonary rehabilitation training based on SDT for AECOPD patients can strengthen training compliance, improve dyspnea symptoms, enhance exercise ability, promote the improvement of lung function and improve quality of life.
