Effect of Shuo Tong Mirror Lithotripsy and Ureteroscopic Pneumatic Ballistic Lithotripsy in the Treatment of Patients with Upper Urinary Tract Stones and Pyonephritis
Objective:To explore the effect of Shuo Tong Mirror lithotripsy and ureteroscopic pneumatic ballistic lithotripsy in the treatment of patients with upper urinary tract stones and pyonephritis.Method:A total of 85 patients with upper urinary tract stones and pyonephritis who admitted to Zhijiang People's Hospital from April 2021 to April 2023 were selected as the research objects,they were divided into the observation group(Shuo Tong Mirror lithotripsy,n=42)and the control group(ureteroscopic pneumatic ballistic lithotripsy,n=43)according to different surgical methods.The operation and hospitalization indexes,stone clearance,renal function and complications were compared between two groups.Result:The operation time and hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group,and the intraoperative blood loss was less than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The stone clearance rate in the observation group at 1 d and 1 month after surgery were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 1 d before operation,there were no significant differences in renal function indexes between two groups(P>0.05);at discharge,the renal function indexes of two groups changed,and the levels of α1-microglobulin(α1-MG),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),serum creatinine(Scr)and serum cystatin C(Cys C)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group(9.52%)was lower than that in the control group(27.91%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The safety of Shuo Tong Mirror lithotripsy in the treatment of upper urinary tract stones and pyonephritis can not only shorten the operation and hospitalization time,reduce the intraoperative blood loss,improve the stone clearance rate,but also improve the renal function of patients and reduce the occurrence of complications.
