Diagnostic Value of NT and Serum β-hCG,PAPP-A and ADAM12 Alone and Combination in Detection for DS in Early Pregnancy
Objective:To investigate the diagnostic value of cervical hyaline layer thickness(NT)and serum human chorionic gonadotropin(β-hCG),pregnance-related protein A(PAPP-A)and antibody to a disintegrin and metalloprotease 12(ADAM12)alone and combination in detection for Down syndrome(DS)in early pregnancy.Method:A total of 47 pregnant women with DS diagnosed by amniocentesis in Xinglin Branch of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from January 2019 to January 2023 were selected as the DS group, and 49 pregnant women with normal prenatal examination during the same period were selected as the control group.NT and serum β-hCG,PAPP-A and ADAM12 levels were detected and compared between the two groups. The diagnostic value of NT and serum β-hCG,PAPP-A and ADAM12 in DS was analyzed by receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve.Result:The levels of NT and serum β-hCG in DS group were higher than those in control group, and the levels of PAPP-A and ADAM12 were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the combined detection of NT with serum β-hCG,PAPP-A and ADAM12 for the diagnosis of DS had an area under the curve of 0.993,and the prediction sensitivity and specificity were 95.7%and 98.0%,respectively,which were higher than the above indexes detected alone. Conclusion:NT and serum β-hCG,PAPP-A,ADAM12 detection have a certain diagnostic value for DS in early pregnancy, and the combined application has a higher diagnostic effect, and can be used as an effective indicator for DS screening in early pregnancy.
