Research Status of Canceration and Screening of Colorectal Laterally Spreading Tumors
Colorectal laterally spreading tumor(CLST)is a kind of flat protuberant lesion originating from colorectal mucosa with a diameter≥10 mm,it is mainly characterized by lateral development.Compared with other colorectal protuberant adenomas,CLST has different morphological characteristics, special growth mode and higher malignant potential,it is considered to be closely related to the occurrence and development of colorectal cancer. The current consensus is that large-scale early screening, early diagnosis and early treatment are the key to the prevention and control of colorectal cancer and CLST carcinogenesis. The carcinogenesis process of CLST involves a variety of molecular mechanisms. In recent years, with the update of endoscopic equipment, the development of various auxiliary technologies, and the enhancement of endoscopic physicians'understanding of CLST,the detection rate of CLST has increased. This article reviewed the research status of CLST carcinogenesis and screening.
