Effect of Azithromycin Combined with Cefixime in Children with Pneumonia
Objective:To investigate the effect of Azithromycin combined with Cefixime in children with pneumonia.Method:Ninety-two children with pneumonia who treated in the Department of Pediatrics of Qianjiang Central Hospital from January to December 2022 were selected as the study objects, they were divided into the control group and the study group according to the random number table method,46 case in each group. The control group was treated with Cefixime, and the study group was treated with Azithromycin combined with Cefixime. The hospitalization time, lung rale disappearance time, body temperature recovery time, cough disappearance time, inflammatory factor level changes and treatment effect were compared between two groups.Result:Compared with the control group, the hospitalization time, lung rale disappearance time, body temperature recovery time and cough disappearance time of the study group were shorter, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of white blood cell count, platelet aggregation rate,C-reactive protein and calcitonin in two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the study group were lower than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Azithromycin combined with Cefixime in the treatment of children with pneumonia can effectively shorten the hospitalization time, relieve the symptoms of disease faster, effectively reduce the level of inflammatory factors, and the treatment effect is significant.
