Application Effect of Hot Fill Method Acupuncture Combined with Buyang Huanwu Decoction in Patients with Hemiplegia after Stroke
Objective:To explore the effect of hot fill method acupuncture combined with Buyang Huanwu Decoction in patients with hemiplegia after stroke.Method:A total of 80 patients with hemiplegia after stroke treated in Jiuquan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects,and they were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional acupuncture combined with Buyang Huanwu Decoction,and the observation group was treated with hot fill method acupuncture combined with Buyang Huanwu Decoction.The total effective rate,living capacity(Barthel index),gait parameters[distance parameters(step length,stride length and stride speed)and time parameters(stride frequency,percentage of standing phase and percentage of swinging phase)]and joint motion parameters(ankle dorsiflexion and plantar flexion,rotation and varion and valgus)were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in Barthel index,gait parameters and joint motion indexes between the two groups(P>0.05).After 3 courses of treatment,the Barthel index of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group,the percentage of swing phase,ankle rotation and varion and varion angle of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group,and the step length,stride length,step speed,step frequency,percentage of standing phase and ankle dorsiflexion and plantar flexion angle of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Hot fill method acupuncture combined with Buyang Huanwu Decoction is effective in the treatment of hemiplegia patients after stroke,and can significantly improve the gait parameters and joint motion state.
