Application Effect of Hot Tonifying Acupuncture Method Combined with Buyang Huanwu Decoction in Patients with Hypermyotonia during the Recovery Period of Stroke
Objective:To investigate the application effect of hot tonifying acupuncture method combined with Buyang Huanwu Decoction in patients with hypermyotonia during the recovery period of stroke.Method:A total of 80 patients with hypertonia during the recovery period of stroke treated in Jiuquan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected.They were divided into routine acupuncture group and hot tonifying acupuncture group according to random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The routine acupuncture group was given Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with conventional acupuncture treatment,and the hot tonifying acupuncture group was given Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with hot tonifying acupuncture method treatment.Muscle tension and living ability,limb movement function,biceps brachii electromyography parameters and tibial anterior electromyography parameters before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of muscle tension and living ability in hot tonifying acupuncture group were significantly higher than those in routine acupuncture group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the upper and lower limb Fugl-Meyer limb function scale(FMA)scores of the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment,and the FMA score of the upper and lower limbs of the hot tonifying acupuncture group were significantly higher than those of the routine acupuncture group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,integrated electromyography(IEMG),root mean square amplitude(RMS)and co-systole(CO)of tibialis anterior and biceps brachii were significantly lower than those before treatment,and IEMG,CO of tibialis anterior and IEMG,RMS and CO of biceps brachii in hot tonifying acupuncture group were significantly lower than those in routine acupuncture group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of hot toning acupuncture method combined with Buyang Huanwu Decoction in patients with hypermyotonia during the recovery period of stroke has a good effect,and can significantly improve the electromyography parameters of patients.
