Effect of Triamcinolone Acetonide and Sodium Hyaluronate Injection in the Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis
Objective:To study the effect of Triamcinolone Acetonide and Sodium Hyaluronate injection in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis(KOA).Method:A total of 100 KOA patients admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen Medical College from August 2020 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into two groups according to random number table method,with 50 patients in each group.The control group was treated with Sodium Hyaluronate injection,and the observation group was treated with Triamcinolone Acetonide plus Sodium Hyaluronate injection for 5 weeks.The clinical efficacy,knee function[Western Ontario and McMaster University osteoarthritis index(WOMAC)],bone metabolism[bone mineral density(BMD),osteocalcin(OC)],inflammatory markers[interleukin-1(IL-1),interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)]and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was 96.00%,which was higher than 80.00%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of pain,stiffness,dysfunction and total score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,BMD and OC in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,IL-1,IL-6 and TNF-α in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Triamcinolone Acetonide and Sodium Hyaluronate injection have significant effects in the treatment of KOA patients,which can effectively promote the clearance of inflammation in the body,improve the function of the knee joint and bone metabolism of the patients,and do not increase the occurrence of adverse reactions.
