Evaluation of the Analgesic Effect of Lumbar Quadratus Muscle Block Combined with Sufentanil Self-controlled Analgesia on Postoperative Analgesia in Elderly Patients Undergoing Total Hip Replacement
Objective:To explore the effect of lumbar quadrangular muscle block combined with Sufentanil self-controlled analgesia on postoperative analgesia in elderly patients undergoing total hip replacement.Method:A total of 100 elderly patients undergoing total hip replacement treated in Gansu Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from November 2021 to April 2022 were selected as the study objects.Random number table method was used to divide the patients into two groups, with 50 cases in each group. The experimental group was given Sufentanil self-controlled analgesia combined with lumbar quadratus muscle block analgesia, and the control group was given Sufentanil self-controlled analgesia.Visual analogue scale(VAS)score, analgesic pump first compression time, first getting out of bed activity time,Sufentanil dosage, number of Pethidine remedial analgesia cases and postoperative analgesic effect satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Result:At 2 h,4 h,6 h,12 h,24 h,36 h and 48 h after surgery, the resting VAS scores of the two groups were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The anesthetic resolution time, analgesic pump first compression time in the experimental group were later than those in the control group, first getting out of bed activity time in experimental group was earlier than that in control group, and the number of Sufentanil dosage and number of Pethidine remedial analgesia cases in experimental group were less than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction of postoperative analgesia in experimental group was higher than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Sufentanil self-controlled analgesia combined with lumbar quadratus muscle block can better relieve postoperative pain in elderly patients with total hip replacement, promote the recovery of patients, and patients have higher satisfaction with postoperative analgesia.
