Effect of General Anesthesia Combined with Superficial Cervical Plexus Block on Patients Undergoing Radical Thyroidectomy
Objective:To investigate the effect of general anesthesia combined with superficial cervical plexus block on patients undergoing radical thyroidectomy.Method:A total of 88 patients with radical thyroidectomy treated in Bijie City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the study objects. They were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,44 cases in each group. The control group was given general anesthesia, and the observation group was given general anesthesia combined with superficial cervical plexus block.Anesthesia recovery condition, preoperative and postoperative hemodynamic indexes and stress indexes were compared between the two groups.Result:There was no significant difference in eye opening time, spontaneous breathing recovery time and extubation time between the two groups(P>0.05).After surgery, mean arterial pressure(MAP)and heart rate(HR)of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After surgery, the levels of cortisol(Cor),epinephrine(EPI)and norepinephrine(NE)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of general anesthesia combined with superficial cervical plexus block in patients undergoing radical thyroidectomy has a remarkable effect, which can ensure the quality of anesthesia recovery, maintain the stability of hemodynamics, and reduce the level of stress hormones in the patients.
