Effect of Hernia Repair Surgery under Laparoscopy on Children with Inguinal Hernia
Objective:To investigate the effect of hernia repair surgery under laparoscopy on children with inguinal hernia.Method:A total of 600 children with inguinal hernia treated in Qianxi City People's Hospital from February 2021 to July 2023 were selected. They were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method,300 cases in each group. The control group received traditional open hernia repair surgery, and the observation group received hernia repair surgery under laparoscopy.Perioperative indexes, preoperative and postoperative 24 h inflammatory factors, physiological stress indexes and complications were compared between the two groups.Result:The surgery time, getting out of bed for activity time and hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, and the visual analogue scales(VAS)score at 24 h after surgery was lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 24 h of surgery, the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),C-reactive protein(CRP)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in observation group were lower than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 24 h of surgery, the levels of adrenocorticotropin(ACTH),cortisol(Cor),norepinephrine(NE),diastolic blood pressure(DBP)and systolic blood pressure(SBP)in observation group were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Hernia repair surgery under laparoscopy is effective in children with inguinal hernia, with shorter operation time and postoperative hospital stay, less trauma to the body, less pain, and fewer complications.
