Effect of Pantoprazole in the Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Complicated with Gastric Ulcer and Its Influence on Blood Glucose
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Pantoprazole in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with gastric ulcer, and to evaluate the influence on blood glucose in patients.Method:A total of 80 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with gastric ulcer admitted to Fujian Provincial Geriatric Hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected. The patients were divided into control group and observation group with 40 cases in each group. After admission, all subjects took oral hypoglycemic drugs or injected insulin to start basic treatment. On this basis,Omeprazole was taken orally in the control group, and Pantoprazole was used in the observation group. The improvement of clinical symptoms, treatment effectiveness and blood glucose level before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Result:The regression time of upper abdominal pain, belching, heartburn and bleeding in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The clinical effective rate of observation group was 95.00%,which was higher than 75.00%of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin in two groups were lower than those before treatment, and which in observation group were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Pantoprazole has a better effect in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients complicated with gastric ulcer, which can effectively improve gastric ulcer related symptoms and regulate blood sugar level, and has a high clinical safety.
