Effect of Small Incision Median Nerve Release Combined with Acupoint Injection Sequential Therapy on the Treatment of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Objective:To investigate the effect of small incision median nerve release combined with acupoint injection sequential therapy in the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome(CTS).Method:A total of 103 CTS patients admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Qinzhou from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects.According to random number table method, the they were divided into control group(n=52)and observation group(n=51).Both groups were treated with small incision median nerve release, the control group was treated with oral neurenergen drugs after surgery, and the observation group was treated with acupoint injection sequential therapy after surgery. The therapeutic effect,Levine score and median nerve electromyography indexes[sensory conduction velocity(SCV),sensory nerve action potential amplitude(SNAP),motor nerve distal motor latency(DML)]were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was 98.00%,which was higher than 80.00%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 6 months of treatment, the severity and functional status scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 6 months of treatment,SCV and SNAP in both groups were higher than those before treatment, and DML was lower than that before treatment,SCV and SNAP in observation group were higher than those in control group,DML was lower than that in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Small incision median nerve release combined with point injection sequential therapy can effectively improve the therapeutic effect of CTS,improve the wrist function and promote nerve recovery.
