Application Effect of Chinese Medicine Fumigation Combined with Shoulder Three Needles Warm Acupuncture in Patients with Post-stroke Shoulder and Hand Syndrome
Objective:To study the application effect of Chinese medicine fumigation combined with shoulder three needles warm acupuncture in patients with post-stroke shoulder and hand syndrome(SHS).Method:A total of 100 patients with post-stroke SHS treated in Chishui City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2017 to December 2020 were selected.They were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was given rehabilitation training,and the observation group was given Chinese medicine fumigation combined with shoulder three needles warm acupuncture on the basis of the control group.Pain condition,upper limb motor function,daily living ability,traditional Chinese medicine symptom score and quality of life before and after intervention were compared between the two groups.Result:After intervention,the visual analogue scale(VAS)score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the scores of Fugl-Meyer(FMA)scale and Barthel index(BI)were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of shoulder pain,unfavorable flexion and extension,hemianesthesia and finger swelling in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the physiological,psychological,social and environmental scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Chinese medicine fumigation combined with shoulder three needles warm acupuncture can reduce the affected limbs pain of patients with post-stroke SHS,accelerate the recovery of motor function,reduce the score of TCM symptoms,and improve the quality of life.
