Effect of Arthroscopic Small Incision MPFL Reconstruction and Conventional MPFL Reconstruction on Patients with Traumatic Recurrent Dislocation of Patellar
Objective:To analyze the effect of arthroscopic small incision medial patellafemoral ligament(MPFL)reconstruction and conventional MPFL reconstruction on patients with traumatic recurrent dislocation of patellar(RDP).Method:Eighty-four patients with traumatic RDP admitted to Jiayuguan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the study objects.According to random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group,42 cases in each group. The observation group received arthroscopic small incision MPFL reconstruction, and the control group received conventional MPFL reconstruction.Perioperative indexes, patellar joint morphology, knee joint function, patellar joint function, quality of life before and 3 months after surgery and complications were compared between the two groups.Result:The intraoperative blood loss volume in the observation was less than that in the control group, and hospital stay was shorter than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Three months after surgery, the patellar inclination angle and the patellar inclination angle was smaller than that in the control group, and the patellar displacement rate in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Three months after surgery,Lysholm function score and Kujala score in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Three months after surgery, the psychological function, physical function, social function and material status scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Arthroscopic small incision MPFL reconstruction has smaller trauma, shorter hospital stay, can promote knee joint function recovery, improve patellar joint morphology, and improve quality of life in patients with traumatic RDP,without serious complications.
