Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Bone Injury Manipulation Combined with Acupuncture and Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy in the Treatment of Patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation
Objective:To observe and analyze the effect of traditional Chinese medicine bone injury manipulation combined with acupuncture and extracorporeal shock wave therapy in the treatment of patients with lumbar disc herniation.Method:A total of 100 patients with lumbar disc herniation who admitted to Xiamen Third Hospital from February 2022 to May 2023 were collected as subjects, the central group randomization method was used to list the corresponding treatment allocation table with serial number 1-100 for grouping treatment(the observation group and the control group),with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given acupuncture combined with extracorporeal shock wave therapy, and the observation group was given traditional Chinese medicine bone injury manipulation on the basis of the control group. The low back pain score, motor function and inflammation indexes were compared between two groups.Result:After 28 d of treatment, the visual analogue scale(VAS)score,Oswestry disability index(ODI)score, and the levels of interleukin-8(IL-8),interleukin-6(IL-6)and C-reactive protein(CRP)in two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)scores of two groups were higher than those before treatment, and that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of traditional Chinese medicine bone injury manipulation combined with acupuncture and extracorporeal shock wave therapy in patients with lumbar disc herniation can effectively relieve the symptoms of low back pain, improve lumbar function and movement disorders, reduce the level of inflammatory factors, and the effect is good.
