Research Progress of Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease
Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is a chronic liver disease associated with insulin resistance and the metabolic syndrome.With the increase of obesity and diabetes patients worldwide,the incidence of NAFLD is also increasing year by year,becoming an important public health problem worldwide.NAFLD patients often have fatigue,abdominal distension,right upper abdomen discomfort or pain and other symptoms,in severe cases,liver cirrhosis,hepatocellular carcinoma can appear,at this time,there will be hematemesis,black stool,blood stool and other symptoms,which will have a serious impact on the patients'health and quality of life.Therefore,prompt diagnosis and treatment are essential to improve the prognosis of patients with NAFLD.This review will review the pathogenesis,pathophysiology,epidemiological characteristics,clinical manifestations,diagnosis and treatment of NAFLD.
