Effect of Laparoscopic Appendectomy Combined with Dachaihu Decoction Modified Formula in Patients with Complicated Appendicitis
Objective:To investigate the effect of laparoscopic appendectomy combined with Dachaihu Decoction Modified Formula in the treatment of complicated appendicitis.Method:A total of 55 patients with complicated appendicitis admitted to Tongren People's Hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected and divided into control group(n=28)and observation group(n=27)according to random number table method.The control group was treated with laparoscopic appendectomy,and the observation group was supplemented with Dachaihu Decoction Modified Formula on the basis of control group.The postoperative recovery,inflammation level,postoperative pain score and complications were compared between the two groups.Result:The first exhaust time,first defecation time,bowel sound recovery time and diet recovery time in the observation group were earlier than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 7 d after surgery,the levels of C-reactive protein(CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),white blood cell count(WBC)in observation group were lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 24 h and 48 h after operation,visual analogue scale(VAS)scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Laparoscopic appendectomy and Dachaihu Decoction Modified Formula can accelerate postoperative exhaust and defecation of patients with complicated appendicitis,promote inflammation regression,reduce pain symptoms,and few complications.
