Effectiveness of Abdominal Acupuncture Therapy with Exercise in the Treatment of Periarthritis Humeroscapularis
Objective:To evaluate the effect of abdominal acupuncture therapy combined with exercise on periarthritis humeroscapularis.Method:A total of 100 patients with periarthritis humeroscapularis treated in Nanjing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to September 2023 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into study group and control group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received conventional treatment, while the study group received abdominal acupuncture therapy combined with exercise. The clinical efficacy, pain degree, shoulder joint function score, shoulder joint motion and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of the study group was 98.00%,which was significantly higher than 82.00%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the visual analogue scale(VAS)score of the study group was lower than that of the control group, and the Constant-Murley shoulder function(CMS)score and activities of daily living(ADL)score of the study group were significantly higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, shoulder flexion, external rotation, abduction and extension in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Abdominal acupuncture therapy combined with exercise is effective in the treatment of periarthritis humeroscapularis, which can reduce shoulder joint pain and improve joint motion.
