Comparison of Two Different Stent-assisted Coil Embolization for Intracranial Aneurysms
Objective:To compare the effect of two different stent-assisted coil embolization in the treatment of intracranial aneurysm.Method:A total of 93 patients with intracranial aneurysm admitted to the Third People's Hospital of Pingdu City from January 2019 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects, and they were divided into the observation group(n=46)and the control group(n=47)according to envelope method. The observation group was treated with Lvis stent, while the control group was treated with Enterprise stent. The therapeutic effect, complications, neurological function and long term prognosis were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of embolization in the observation group was 95.65%,which was higher than 74.47%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).After 3 months of treatment, the National Institute of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Six months after discharge, the neurological function of the observation group was better than that of the control group and at discharge, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The effect of Lvis stent assisted spring coil embolization in the treatment of intracranial aneurysm is relatively better than that of Enterprise stent assisted therapy, which can improve the embolization effect of intracranial aneurysm patients and improve the nerve function of patients. Moreover, the operation is safe and the long-term prognosis is good.
