Role of T Lymphocyte Immunity in the Pathogenesis of COPD Emphysema
Emphysema is a typical pathological change of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),and its occurrence and development cannot be separated from the participation of immune inflammation.T lymphocytes are closely related to the abnormal immunoinflammatory response of COPD emphysema.Different subtypes of CD8+T and CD4+T cells can secrete specific cytokines[such as granase,perforin,interferon-γ(INF-γ),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-17(IL-17),etc.];it plays a crucial role in promoting alveolar cell apoptosis, regulating immune response and maintaining lung inflammation. This article reviews the recent progress of T lymphocyte mediated adaptive immunity in the pathogenesis of COPD emphysema, aiming to provide new ideas for the prevention and treatment of COPD emphysema.
