Clinical Effect of Chinese Medicine Hot Submergence Bag Combined with Chinese Medicine Fumigation in the Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis
Objective:To investigate the application value of Chinese medicine hot submergence bag combined with Chinese medicine fumigation in patients with knee osteoarthritis(KOA).Method:A total of 84 KOA patients who admitted to Rehabilitation Department of Tongren People's Hospital from October 2022 to September 2023 were selected as the study objects,and the patients were divided into two groups by random number table method,with 42 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine treatment,and the observation group was treated with Chinese medicine hot submergence bag combined with Chinese medicine fumigation on the basis of the control group.The knee function of Hospital for Special Surgery(HSS)score,Lysholm knee joint score,visual analogue score(VAS),knee flexion and extension motion,inflammatory factor level and treatment effect were compared between two groups.Result:Before treatment,there were no significant differences in the HSS score,Lysholm score,VAS score,knee flexion and extension motion and inflammatory factors between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,the HSS score and Lysholm score in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the VAS score,interleukin-1(IL-1)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)levels were lower than those in the control group,the knee flexion and extension motion were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:During the rehabilitation of KOA patients,Chinese medicine hot submergence bag combined with Chinese medicine fumigation can improve the knee joint function,joint limitation,pain and other related symptoms.
