Research Progress in Chemotherapy-related Nausea and Vomiting in Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine
With the increasing incidence of tumors, the treatment of tumors has become one of the most concerned issues for people.Chemotherapy is one of the main treatments for cancer patients, but chemotherapy may cause toxic reactions while killing tumor cells, such as chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting(CINV).CINV is a common toxic reaction of chemotherapy, which may damage the quality of life of patients with various early and end-stage malignant tumors and affect the therapeutic effect. It is very important to solve this problem from the perspective of prevention and treatment,so that patients can adhere to the treatment plan and ensure the continuity and effectiveness of chemotherapy.Modern medicine mainly uses drug therapy, and the corresponding receptor antagonists have been proved to be effective in clinical practice, but there are also related adverse reactions;traditional Chinese medicine treatment of CINV on the basis of syndrome differentiation provides another idea for clinical treatment of CINV.In this paper, the progress of Chinese and Western medicine treatment of CINV was summarized and discussed in a review, hoping to help the disease in clinical diagnosis and treatment.
