Application of Modified Taohong Siwu Decoction in the Lumbar Degenerative Disease after OLIF
Objective:To observe the application of modified Taohong Siwu Decoction in the lumbar degenerative disease after oblique lateral interbody fusion(OLIF).Method:Fifty patients with lumbar degenerative diseases after OLIF admitted to International Zhuang Medicine Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine from January 2019 to March 2023 were selected as the study objects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into an experimental group and a control group, with 25 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with OLIF.Both groups were given conventional treatment after operation, and the experimental group was given modified Taohong Siwu Decoction on the basis of above. The pain condition, lumbar function before surgery,1 week,2 weeks and 1 month after operation and clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared.Result:At 2 weeks and 1 month after operation, visual analogue scale(VAS)score of experimental group was lower than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).At 2 weeks and 1 month after operation, the Oswestry disability index(ODI)score of experimental group was lower than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of experimental group was significantly higher than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Modified Taohong Siwu Decoction can improve the pain of patients with lumbar degenerative disease after OLIF,and can speed up the rehabilitation process of patients.
