Effect of MECT Combined with Aripiprazole in the Treatment of Schizophrenia and Its Influence on MBP,GDNF and Inflammatory Factors
Objective:To investigate the effect of modified electroconvulsive therapy(MECT)combined with Aripiprazole in the treatment of schizophrenia and its influence on myelin basic protein(MBP)and glial derived neurotrophic factor(GDNF)and inflammatory factors.Method:A total of 100 patients with schizophrenia admitted to Xianning Bode Psychiatric Hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected. They were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Aripiprazole, and the observation group was treated with MECT based on the control group. The symptoms of schizophrenia, related indicators, inflammatory factors before and after treatment, clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment, the negative symptoms, positive symptoms, general psychopathological symptoms scores and total scores of the two groups were significantly reduced, and the negative symptoms, positive symptoms scores and total scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,MBP level was significantly decreased and GDNF level was significantly increased in both groups,MBP level in observation group was lower than that in control group,GDNF level was higher than control that in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interleukin-1β(IL-1β)in the two groups were significantly decreased, and the levels of TNF-α and IL-1β in observation group were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:In the treatment of schizophrenia,MECT combined with Aripiprazole can better regulate the expression of MBP,GDNF and inflammatory response, improve patients'mental symptoms, improve clinical efficacy, and do not increase adverse reactions.
