Effect of Modified Banxia Houpu Decoction Combined with Directional Diathermy Therapy on Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease with Phlegm Turbidity
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Modified Banxia Houpu Decoction combined with directional diathermy therapy on acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD)with phlegm turbidity.Method:Eighty patients with phlegm turbidity AECOPD treated in E'zhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to December 2023 were selected as the study objects,and divided into observation group(n=40)and control group(n=40)by medical record number drawing method.Patients in the control group were treated with western basic treatment,and patients in the observation group were treated with Modified Banxia Houpu Decoction combined with directional diathermy therapy.Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,lung function index,inflammatory factor level and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores and inflammatory factors in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and lung function indexes were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Modified Banxia Houpu Decoction combined with directional diathermy therapy can relieve clinical symptoms,improve lung function,reduce inflammatory response,and have a high safety in the treatment of AECOPD patients with phlegm turbidity.
