The Effect of Wenshen Qianjiang Decoction on Treating Stroke
Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect of Wenshen Qianjiang Decoction on stroke and analyze its impact on neurological function.Method:Eighty stroke patients treated at Shizuishan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected and randomly divided into control group(conventional treatment)and observation group(combined with Wenshen Qianjiang Decoction)by random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The clinical efficacy,inflammatory factors[homocysteine(Hcy),C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6)],National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)scores,and Barthel index were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of control group was lower than that of observation group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in the levels of inflammatory factors between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,Hcy,CRP and IL-6 in both groups were decreased,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in NIHSS score and Barthel index between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,NIHSS score decreased and Barthel index increased in both groups,NIHSS score in observation group was lower than that in control group,and Barthel index was higher than that in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of stroke patients with Wenshen Qianjiang Decoction has remarkable efficacy,which can reduce the inflammatory response and improve the ability to live.
