The Clinical Effect of Combination Therapy of Praprofen and Olotadine in Patients with Allergic Conjunctivitis
Objective:To explore the application effect of Praprofen and Olotadine in the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis.Method:A total of 96 patients with allergic conjunctivitis admitted to Guiyang Nanming District People's Hospital from May 2021 to May 2023 were divided into two groups according to random number table method, with 48 patients in each group. The control group was treated with Praprofen, and the observation group was treated with Olocatadine on the basis of control group. The clinical efficacy, inflammatory response level, immune function, tear membrane function and adverse effects were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of observation group(95.83%)was higher than that of control group(81.25%),after treatment, histamine(HA)level and eosinophil cationic protein(ECP)level of observation group were lower than that of control group, the levels of immunoglobulin A(IgA),immunoglobulin G(IgG)and immunoglobulin E(IgE)were lower than those of control group, the tear film rupture time(BUT)and tear secretion(SⅠt)in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Praprofen and Olocatadine is effective in the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis, which can effectively reduce the inflammation, promote the recovery of tear film function, improve immunity, and have good safety.
