Effect of Endoscopic Ligation Combined with Somatostatin in Patients with Cirrhotic Esophageal Varices Bleeding
Objective:To explore the effect of endoscopic ligation combined with Somatostatin in the treatment of cirrhotic esophageal varices bleeding patients.Method:A total of 72 patients with cirrhotic esophageal varices bleeding treated in Guihang Guiyang Hospital from January 2020 to September 2023 were selected as the study objects, and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 36 cases in each group. The control group was treated with endoscopic ligation and the observation group was treated with Somatostatin on the basis of control group. The clinical indexes(hemostatic time, total blood transfusion and hospital stay),hemodynamic indexes(portal vein and splenic vein blood flow),complication rate and gastrointestinal rebleeding were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The hemostatic time and hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the blood transfusion volume was less than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, portal vein blood flow and splenic vein blood flow in two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in observation group were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).The incidence of rebleeding in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Endoscopic ligation combined with Somatostatin is effective in patients with cirrhotic esophageal varices bleeding, which is helpful to promote postoperative rehabilitation and reduce the risk of postoperative rebleeding.
