Comparison of Clinical Efficacy and Safety of Simultaneous Hernia Repair and Selective Hernia Repair for Intestinal Rupture Repair in the Treatment of Inguinal Hernia Combined with Intestinal Rupture
Objective:To compare the clinical effect and safety of simultaneous hernia repair and selective hernia repair for intestinal rupture repair in the treatment of inguinal hernia combined with intestinal rupture.Method:A total of 120 patients with inguinal hernia combined with intestinal rupture admitted to the Department of General Surgery of the Fujian Province Hospital South Branch from January 2019 to January 2022 were randomly divided into two groups, with 60 cases in each group. The selective group received hernia repair at 3 months after the intestinal rupture repair, and the same period group received hernia repair at the same time.Surgical indexes, serum inflammatory factors, total complication rate were compared between the two groups.Result:The operation time, first time of getting out of bed and hospital stay in the same period group were shorter than those in the selective group, and the intraoperative blood loss was lower than that in the selective group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before operation, there was no significant difference in serum inflammatory factors between the two groups(P>0.05).At 5 d after surgery, the levels of serum hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in two groups were lower than those before surgery, and those in the same period group were lower than those in the selective group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the same period group was 3.33%,which was lower than 15.00%in the selective group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Simultaneous hernia repair for intestinal rupture repair can effectively reduce the inflammatory response of patients with inguinal hernia combined with intestinal rupture, reduce the incidence of complications, and has the advantages of short time, less bleeding and quick postoperative recovery.
