Efficacy of Xiao'er Chiqiao Qingre Granules Combined with Amoxicillin Sodium and Clavulanate Potassium in the Treatment of Acute Suppurative Tonsillitis
Objective:To analyze the effect of Xiao'er Chiqiao Qingre Granules combined with Amoxicillin Sodium and Clavulanate Potassium in the treatment of acute suppurative tonsillitis.Method:A total of 86 children with acute suppurative tonsillitis treated in E'zhou Second Hospital from January to December 2023 were selected as the study objects. They were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, with 43 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Amoxicillin Sodium and Clavulanate Potassium, and the experimental group was treated with Xiao'er Chiqiao Qingre Granules on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 7 d.The clinical efficacy, symptom improvement time,T lymphocyte subsets and drug safety of the two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of the experimental group was 95.35%,which was significantly higher than 81.40%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The improvement time of fever, sore throat, swollen tonsils and purulent secretions in experimental group were significantly shorter than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of CD3+and CD4+in experimental group were higher than those before treatment and in control group, and the levels of CD8+was lower than that before treatment and in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Children with acute suppurative tonsillitis were treated with Xiao'er Chiqiao Qingre Granules combined with Amoxicillin Sodium and Clavulanate Potassium, which can play a significant synergistic effect, promote the recovery of symptoms and improve the immune function of children with good safety.
