Clinical Effect of Trancervical Lateral Approach Thyoidectomy with Small Incision and Traditional Thyroid Surgery for Unilateral Thyroid Tumors
Objective:To analyze and compare the clinical effects of trancervical lateral approach thyoidectomy with small incision and traditional thyroid surgery in the treatment of unilateral thyroid tumors.Method:A total of 120 patients with unilateral thyroid tumor admitted to Gansu Cancer Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects.According to the inclusion time of the samples,60 patients were divided into the reference group from January to December 2022 and underwent traditional thyroid surgery. From January to December 2023,60 patients were enrolled in the study group and underwent trancervical lateral approach thyoidectomy with small incision. The relevant treatment indexes, pain degree, complications and postoperative aesthetic satisfaction of the wound were compared between the two groups.Result:The incision length was shorter than that in reference group, intraoperative blood loss was less than that in reference group, operative time and hospital stay in the study group were shorter than those in the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The pain degree score of the study group was lower than that of the reference group at 1 d and 3 d after operation, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the reference group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total satisfaction score of postoperative wound appearance in the study group was higher than that in the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with traditional thyroid surgery, the treatment of patients with unilateral thyroid tumor with trancervical lateral approach thyoidectomy with small incision can achieve more ideal efficacy, effectively shorten the operation time and intraoperative blood loss, reduce the stress reaction and pain of patients, and then effectively reduce the occurrence of related complications.Besides, the postoperative wound appearance is relatively high.
