Effects of Budesonide Combined with Montelukast on Children with Acute Attack of Bronchial Asthma
Objective:To observe the effects of Budesonide combined with Montelukast on children with acute attack of bronchial asthma.Method:The medical records of 98 children with acute attack of bronchial asthma admitted to Quanzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital·Children's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were retrospectively selected.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into observation group and control group,49 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Budesonide and the observation group was treated with Montelukast Sodium on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy after 2 weeks of treatment,immune function,inflammatory factors before and after treatment and drug safety of the two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of immunoglobulin A(IgA)and immunoglobulin M(IgM)increased and the level of complement C3 decreased in both groups,the levels of IgA and IgM in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the level of complement C3 was lower than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,white blood cell(WBC)count and C-reactive protein(CRP)were decreased in both groups,and WBC count and CRP in observation group were lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of rashes and hoarseness in the observation group was slightly higher than that in the control group,but there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Compared to treatment with Budesonide alone,the combined treatment of Budesonide and Montelukast is more effective for children with acute attack of bronchial asthma.The latter is more conducive to immune function recovery and can effective regulate serum cytokines levels.
