Research Progress on the Elderly Cardiovascular Disease Combined with Frailty
Cardiovascular disease(CVD)is a common geriatric disease,mainly characterized by changes in the heart and blood vessels,including weakened heart function,vascular stenosis and blockage.CVD often worsens progressively and has a poor prognosis,posing a serious threat to health.Frailty is also a type of elderly syndrome,which mainly manifests as insufficient physiological reserve functions in the human body.When facing diseases,the resistance decreases,making it more prone to stress and exacerbating existing diseases.CVD combined with frailty is very common in the elderly population.Current research has found that there are multiple high-risk factors for the onset of both diseases,and there are common pathways for their pathogenesis.This article collects relevant literature both domestical and international on the elderly cardiovascular disease combined with frailty,and provides a review.
